Weekend

The Church
Friday Night - collected Dave (very drunk) from his work Xmas party at Darling Harbour. Checked out the seminal Aussie rock band The Church at The Rocks Markets. Nice fireworks display on the harbour.
Karin's Housewarming
Saturday - Breakfast at the Lemon on Crown Street (”Once were locals”). Disco nap. Karin’s housewarming in Coogee. Lots of 80’s music pleased me!
Rozie Bowls Check out my form!
Sunday - Family friend’s combined 60th Birthday party at Artarmon Bowling Club. Yes, there was lawn bowling in the 30+ degree temperatures! Then down to Tamarama beach for a mini - dip. Went home and Dave poured me a cup of peppermint tea. Ahhhhhhhh.

Australian Idol Final 3

Tonight I had the privilege of having VIP seats at the live performance show of the final 3. I received 5 messages of support during the show, but my brother, who was sitting next to me received 26 (TWENTY-SIX)! It was very exciting to be in the live audience, as I’d never been in a tv recording. At home, you may say a certain performance was shit, but when you are there, it’s all good because there is so much atmosphere. Yes, mainly screaming young girls but anyway - it’s exciting in the studio, OK. If you didn’t catch the show tonight, I was sitting behind the judges, right between Dicko & Marcia! Afterwards, we got to do the groupie thing with Anthony & Courtney (who remembered my sign - Save The Vinyl!!) Check out the photos Thanks to Jamie’s friends; Regina, Helene & their uncle (who is one of the producers) for the great seats.

Bye Bye Hayley

As you all should know, Hayley (the blonde yodelling one) was ejected from Australian Idol this week. This means… I will be seeing Anthony, Casey & Courtney LIVE next Sunday at the taping of the show. The final 3 contestants will be singing 70’s - there better be some Donna Summer action! That’s right folks, look out for me and my bro in the VIP seats with the screaming live audience of Australian Idol next Sunday night on your TV sets.

I still have my money on Ricky-Lee - too bad she’s been evicted already and won’t be able to win :(

REMEMBER - It’s UNAustralian not to vote ;)
