Went to the Lindt Cafe in Martin Place for a chocolate appreciation course. I really did learn how to appreciate quality chocolate and won’t eat $2 shop choc ever again. It started with a hot chocolate, plain chocolate pieces, truffles, cakes and ice cream. I really wanted to eat a spring roll at the end of it. At $60 a pop it wasn’t cheap, but I think it was a very interesting presentation by the head chocolatier and there was plenty of chocolate to eat. We all pitched in for BJ’s birthday and got a gift bag and doggie bag to take home.
I have been freelancing at an ad agency in The Rocks/Wynyard for a few weeks now. I really like the people and the environment here. I hope they offer me a full time position. Having never worked in the middle of the city before, it took a little while to adjust to things such as which exit to take at Wynyard station and where the good places to have lunch are. But now, it’s all good and it’s great to be able to catch up with so many friends who work in the area at lunchtime. So drop me a line if you want to “do lunch”.
No, not being one of Madonna’s back up dancers (I wonder if that was one of Miss Prissy from Rize’s dreams)! I finally got a Powerbook. Woo hoo!! It’s so fast and schmik and SHRN! i love my Mac!
