Dear Ticketmaster

Where the !@#$ is my password to redeem my FlexiPass tickets for the Sydney Film Festival.
2 (TWO) days ago I called Ticketmaster to book my FlexiGold* pass ($375). I was told they will email a confirmation (they did not), I called the next day to get a reference number (that the guy forgot to give me on the phone). He said it would take up to 2 days for them to send me a password so I can redeem the tickets for films. Like hello - get with the program!

    Hello Australian Rozie

Thank you for being a loyal festival audience member. It’s great that you are so organised and are getting your FlexiGold already. FlexiPasses can be redeemed from Monday 12 May and Ticketmaster are emailing everyone who has already purchased a FlexiPass their passwords today, ready for redeeming them.

The program was announced this morning so you can look at the website and choose your films before Monday.

Ticketmaster are all fully briefed on the SFF ticketing system, complicated as it is! If you do have any further comments or questions please let us know.

Look forward to seeing you at the festival this June!

    SFF team.

I am still waiting for my password. I tried to get it this morning and they told me (over the phone) that it was C-A-S-E S-E-N-S-I-T-I-V-E. Um dudes, that’s not a password, that’s a method of typing.

Then I try to do it over the phone.
“No, you can’t redeem FlexiPass tickets over the phone, try using your password to redeem online”.
I ALREADY TOLD YOU I DON’T HAVE MY PASSWORD YET.

“Perhaps you could go to a Ticketmaster outlet”
YES, I COULD, BUT I HATE LINING UP AS YOU ARE ALWAYS BEHIND SOME IDIOT WHO HAS THEIR LIST WRITTEN OVER 5 DIFFERENT LOTS OF SCRAP PAPER AND HAVEN’T PRIORITIZED THEIR CHOICES….

So, I continue to wait for either my password, or for the SFF Planner site to actually work… Come on guys, you’ve had a year to get this organised.

Anyone want to come over for DVDs instead?

Oh, I forgot to mention, I got my password sent to me in the mail (express post = snail mail), even when they said that I would be emailed the password!
