because…Major World Tour Begins May 2009, New Album Due April 2009
Their official website is under construction right now.
Speaking of concerts, here are a few gigs I’ve got coming up:
Oct 22: Stevie Wonder Now being the “old” legend that he is, this could go either way (bad like Barry White or awesome like err Prince). I saw him performing at the Democratic National Convention, so hopefully it will be good.
Dec 6: Kanye West I don’t care what you think. It’s going to be cool. He’s come to Australia about 4 times and I’ve really wanted to check him out, so this time it’s going to happen.
Other concerts I would like to go to but “wallet says no” are Kylie X Tour and Alicia Keys

Perhaps you have read my blog lately about the upcoming DM tour and album. Needless to say having chased them around the world on numerous occasions I am getting excited about a pending tour. Word on the DM street is they are thinking about coming to Australia if the album does big guns, which is doubtful since the last one didnt rate a mention in Australia. Still I am packing my bags for L.A, N.Y and Atlanta, though I will probably get pregnant again and miss the whole thing. I tossed a coin in regards to seeing Stevie, unfortunately he lost out and we are not going. I figure for the ticket price I could near buy a new sound system and his entire back catalogue instead. I was also worried he might fall into the Barry White section of old duds trying to relive it when they should just go and have a glass of milk and a lie down. As for Kayne West well I would go just to hear the line “Since Prince was on Apollonia” now that is a lyric and a half. As if the kids would have any idea what he is on about. I think not.

I’d like to see Kanye in a more intimate setting. He did the U2 support and it was TERRIBLE – the man has no presence in a massive massive stadium!

I actually would love to go to a DM concert. I was a huge fan back in the 80′s (I think I tried to get you interested in their music back then) but atlas, I don’t think they would be touring Oz.
