I don’t like to talk politics… but today I will say..
YAH!
I said to Dave last night, if Obama didn’t win, I was going to cry. Then I was at work watching his speech and I cried a little anyway.
That’s all for now, I have so much to blog about but I’m trying to make myself study first.
The streets went pretty wild last night in SF… all the cars were honking their horns continuously, people on the streets whooping it up, banging pots and pans, letting off fireworks and generally getting rowdy!
There was a pretty amazing vibe last night, nice to see everyone happy, even the too cool for anything hipsters, even they were cheering. I managed to duck into a bar to see Obama’s acceptance speech and it was crazy to see everyone in a normally lively bar be silent, except for the occasional w00t, watching his address.
I must admit, that last night it finally felt good to be in America.
